Mechanism Of Action Of Imiquimod

• Stimulates the innate and adaptive immune responses by activating toll-like receptors (TLR7), leading to increased production of cytokines like interferon-alpha.
• Enhances immune-mediated destruction of virus-infected cells and abnormal tumor cells.

Therapeutic Indications Of Kozamod

• External genital and perianal warts (condyloma acuminata) in adults.
• Actinic keratosis (precancerous skin lesions) on the face or scalp in immunocompetent adults.
• Superficial basal cell carcinoma (a type of skin cancer) in immunocompetent patients when surgery is not appropriate.

Method Of Administration Of Kozamod

• For external use only. Apply a thin layer to the affected area and rub in completely.
• Wash hands before and after application.
• Do not cover with airtight bandages unless advised by a doctor.
• Leave the cream on the skin for the prescribed duration (usually 6 to 10 hours), then wash off with mild soap and water.
• Use as directed by your doctor, typically 3 times per week for warts and up to 5 times per week for other indications.
