  • Eltrombopag is a thrombopoietin receptor agonist that stimulates the production and maturation of platelets, increasing their count in the blood.

 

Therapeutic Indications Of  Revolade Tablets

  • Treatment of chronic immune thrombocytopenia (ITP)
  • Treatment of severe aplastic anemia (SAA): Aplastic anemia is a rare and serious blood disorder in which the bone marrow does not produce enough new blood cells, including red blood cells, white blood cells, and platelets. This can lead to fatigue, infections, and bleeding.

 

Method Of Administration Of Revolade Tablets

  • Always take this medicine exactly as your doctor or pharmacist has told you.
  • Check with your doctor or pharmacist if you are not sure.
  • Your doctor will tell you how to use this medicine. This will depend on your condition and how old you are.
  • Oral administration (by mouth)
  • The Recommended dose is 25 mg once a day for 2 weeks
  • then 50 mg once a day as needed

  • If you take more than you should, talk to a doctor or go to the hospital straight away.
  • If you forget to take a dose, take it as soon as you remember it unless it is nearly time for your next dose.
