Mechanism Of Action Of Roxonin Tape Patches

• Loxoprofen's active metabolite inhibits both COX isoforms, resulting in reduced expression of several mediators of pain, inflammation, and fever (e.g. prostaglandins, prostacyclin, thromboxane, etc.)

Therapeutic Indications Of Roxonin Tape Patches

• Loxoprofen patch is indicated for Anti-inflammation and pain relief in Osteoarthritis, Myalgia,
• Posttraumatic Swelling and Pain.

Method Of Administration Of Roxonin Tape Patches

• Always take this medicine exactly as your doctor or pharmacist has told you.
• Check with your doctor or pharmacist if you are not sure.
• The patch should be applied one time per day to the affected area.
• Site of application:
• Do not apply Roxonin Tape onto an area of damaged or non-intact skin or mucosal membrane.
• Do not apply Roxonin Tape onto an area of eczema and rash.
• Doses may be changed in special conditions so always follow your doctor's or pharmacist's instructions.
• If you take more than you should, talk to a doctor or go to the hospital straight away.
• If you forget to take a dose, take it as soon as you remember it unless it is nearly time for your next dose.
• Do not take a double dose (two doses at the same time) to make up for the forgotten dose.

• Serious side effects are not expected with this medication.
• Although the following side effects are not common in everyone, some patients may complain from:

Warnings & Special Precautions while Taking Roxonin Tape Patches

• Talk to your doctor if your symptoms are getting worse or are not improving.
• This medication is designed for external topical use only
• Stop the medication right away and talk to your doctor or pharmacist if you develop allergic reactions such as shortness of breath, skin rash, swelling of the face or neck.
• You should check with your doctor or pharmacist if you are not sure.
• Talk to your doctor if you have:
• A history of hypersensitivity to any ingredients of Roxonin Tape.
• A history of aspirin-induced asthma (induction of asthmatic attack with nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory-analgesics, etc.) (May induce an aspirin-induced asthmatic attack).

• Store below 25°c
• Don’t refrigerate
• Keep this medicine out of the sight and reach of children.
• Store in the original package to protect from moisture.
• Do not use this medicine after the expiry date which is stated on the box/blisters/label. The expiry date refers to the last day of the month.
