• Trospium belongs to a class of drugs known as antispasmodics. It is also known as an antimuscarinic.
• It helps to reduce leaking of urine, feelings of needing to urinate right away, and frequent trips to the bathroom.

• This medication is used to treat an overactive bladder. By relaxing the muscles in the bladder, trospium improves your ability to control your urination. It helps to reduce leaking of urine, feelings of needing to urinate right away, and frequent trips to the bathroom.

Method Of Administration Of Spasmolyt 20 Mg Tablets

• Always take this medicine exactly as your doctor or pharmacist has told you.
• Check with your doctor or pharmacist if you are not sure.
• Doses may be changed in special conditions so always follow your doctor's or pharmacist's instructions.
• If you take more than you should, talk to a doctor or go to the hospital straight away.
• If you forget to take a dose, take it as soon as you remember it unless it is nearly time for your next dose.
• Do not take a double dose (two doses at the same time) to make up for the forgotten dose.

Warnings & Special Precautions while Taking Spasmolyt 20 Mg Tablets

• Talk to your doctor of pharmacist before taking Trospium if you suffer from any of the following:

1. any type of stomach or bowel obstruction.
2. an impaired urine flow (e.g. in the case of benign tissue growth of the male prostate).
3. neuropathy, i.e. nerve damage.
4. a hiatus hernia associated with reflux esophagitis. This is usually associated with heartburn which worsens on bending or lying down.
5. an overactive thyroid.
